    En este trabajo estudiaremos el comportamiento de los adverbios relativos de lugar en español, donde y adonde (a donde). En la actualidad se identifican algunos solapamientos entre los contextos de uso de estos adverbios. Por otra parte, las restricciones en el uso de estos nexos han sido reguladas normativamente hasta época reciente, como ha ocurrido con la distinción entre a donde y adondeo con el empleo de adonde con valor de ubicación. Por ello, nos proponemos conocer en qué medida la norma vigente en los siglos XX y XXI se ajusta al funcionamiento real de los adverbios relativos de lugar en español, para lo cual contrastaremos la norma que regula el empleo de estas construcciones con los datos obtenidos del análisis de un corpus.

    In this paper we aim to study how relative adverbs of place in Spanish, donde and adonde (a donde). At present some overlaps are identified between the contexts of use of these adverbs. On the other hand, the restrictions on the use of these links have been regulated normatively until recently, as has happened with the distinction between a dondeand adondeor with the use of dondewith location meaning. Therefore, we aim to know how the norm in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries agrees about the actual functioning of the relative adverbs of place in Spanish, for which we will contrast the norm that regulates the use of these constructions with the data obtained from the analysis of a corpus.
