    Los berones fueron uno de los grupos étnicos prerromanos que habitaron la península ibérica al final de la Protohistoria, tradicionalmente localizados en el valle alto del río Ebro. En este trabajo se plantea una aproximación al estudio de sus límites norte y oeste desde una perspectiva arqueológica, que contraste con la tradicional demarcación de los límites territoriales esgrimidos a partir de las fuentes. Con el objetivo de realizar esa aproximación arqueológica a los límites de los berones, se ha planteado utilizar y aplicar en el territorio un modelo teórico lanzado desde la disciplina arqueológica que tenga en cuenta las fronteras.

    The Berones were one of the pre-Roman ethnic groups that inhabited the Iberian Peninsula at the end of Protohistory, traditionally located in the upper valley of the Ebro river. This paper proposes an approach to the study of the northern and western limits of the berones’ territory from an archaeological perspective, as opposed to the traditional demarcation of the territorial limits argued in the literary sources. A theoretical model, taking into account the borders, has been applied to carry out this archaeological approach to the limits of the berones.
