This essay offers a reading of Corporale by Paolo Volponi, probablyhis most original novel, as well as the most challenging of all the literary production of the writer from Urbino. It analyzes the narrative structure and language of the novel considered overflowing, intrusive, magmatic through the postmodern theories by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, having a look at the poetic of erotism by Georges Bataille.
