Sobre algunos bivalvos del aptiense inferior de la zona de Villaro (provincia de Vizcaya)

    En los sedimentos del Aptiense superior de Villaro (provincia de Vizcaya), se han encontrado diversas especies de bivalvos marinos, no citados en anteriores trabajos. El estudio de esta fauna junto con el levantamiento de la columna estratigráfica ha permitido reconocer dos ciclos transgresivos mayores, instaurándose un medio marino restringido en el primero, y arrecife! en el segundo.

    Severa! species of marine bivalves have been founded in the Lower Aptian sediments of Villaro (Biscay province, Northern Spain). lt's the first mention about them. The study about this fauna and their position in the stratigraphic column allows the recognition of two main transgressive cycles: the first reaching marine-lagoon environment, and the second reaching reef environment.

    Bizkaiko Areatzan diren Goi-Aptientseko sedimentuetan orain artean aipatuak izan ez diren itsas kuskubikoen zenbait espezie aurkitu dira. Hauen azterketak, zutabe estratigrafikoaren jasopenaz batera, bi ziklo aurrerakoi nagusi ezaguterazten du, lehenengoan giro itsas-mugatua eta bigarrenean giro errezifala izanik.
