    En este artículo se estudiará la figura del dios funerario Anubis. Para poder entender la concepción del dios es necesario analizar tanto su papel en las tierras del Nilo, como los restos que nos ofrece la arqueología en el Mediterráneo; ya que los materiales arqueológicos nos muestran la presencia del dios en diversas zonas. Es considerable el número de objetos epigráficos, artísticos y numismáticos dedicados al dios. Esta situación es consecuencia de la helenización de Osiris en Serapis, por Ptolomeo Sóter y la difusión mediterránea de los cultos egipcios

    In this paper we will study the figure of the funerary god Anubis, speciafically the rol of the god in Egypt and in the Mediterranean. The archaeological remains show us the presence of the god in different areas of the Mediterranean. We have epigraphic objects, as well as artistic and numismatic evidence at our disposal. The presence of Anubis in the Mediterranean is one of the consequences of Osiris’s hellenisation by Ptolomy Soter and of the dissemination of the Egyptian cults
