The active presence of women is clearly visible on the map of violent groups claiming to be Islam. It manifests itself in sermons promoting religiously legitimized violence, or even in departures for terrorist areas. These trajectories are often characterized by ideologies of ruptures and socio-religious motivations, psychosocial mechanisms of the shift or by networks in which these calls circulate and binary extremist speeches. But beyond this scientific knowledge collected today, there are motivations and profiles that escape and destabilize observers. This article will take a cross-disciplinary approach to the phenomenon, with a specific focus on some Maghrebian trajectories
