    La rotulación actual de las montañas de Puertomingalvo en el MTN es una mezcla de los patrones de rotulación de las montañas de principios del siglo XX con las normas que se establecieron a finales del siglo XX, pero no se corresponde con los nombres geográficos que han sido transmitidos oralmente a través de los siglos y que tienen la consideración de patrimonio inmaterial por la ley. Se identifican básicamente cinco malas prácticas onomásticas en la rotulación de la montañas: eliminación del artículo, eliminación del genérico relativo a la elevación del terreno, invento por duplicación, adición del artículo y adición de un genérico postizo.

    The current labeling of the Puertomingalvo mountains in the MTN is a mixture of the mountains labeling criteria of the early 20th century with the standards that were established at the end of the 20th century, nevertheless it does not correspond to the geographical names that have been orally transmitted through the centuries and that are considered intangible heritage by law. Basically five bad onomastic practices are identified in the mountains labeling: deletion of the article, deletion of the generic relative to the land elevation, invention by duplication, addition of the article and addition of an artificial generic.
