Uso de la robótica en la etapa de Educación Infantil

    El principal objetivo de este artículo es hacer una reflexión detallada sobre algunas de las posibilidades de uso y aplicaciones que actualmente ofrece la robótica dentro del ámbito educativo poniendo especial énfasis en la posibilidad de trasladar dichos usos a la etapa de educación infantil. Para la consecución de dicha finalidad se han analizado en primer lugar los antecedentes y referentes teóricos y pedagógicos que constituyen la base de esta nueva tendencia educativa, para posteriormente realizar un análisis y discusión sobre la evolución de la robótica en el ámbito educativo indicando algunos de los beneficios que puede aportar su incorporación como metodología activa en la etapa de educación infantil y algunos de los kit que existen actualmente indicados especialmente para las edades que comprende esta etapa educativa. Otra parte relevante de este artículo es el análisis de algunos de los factores que han promovido la integración en las aulas de la robótica educativa y el establecimiento de algunos de los elementos necesarios y recomendaciones para diseñar una intervención basada en el uso de la robótica en la etapa de educación infantil, estableciendo además las limitaciones y dificultades que puede llevar implícita dicha intervención.

    The main objective of this article is to make a detailed reflection on some of the possibilities of use and applications that robotics currently offers within the educational field, with special emphasis on the possibility of transferring these uses to the stage of early childhood education. In order to achieve this purpose, the theoretical and pedagogical background and references that constitute the basis of this new educational trend have been analyzed first, to subsequently carry out an analysis and discussion on the evolution of robotics in the educational field indicating some of the benefits that can be incorporated as an active methodology in the stage of early childhood education and some of the kits that currently exist, especially indicated for the ages covered by this educational stage. Another relevant part of this article is the analysis of some of the factors that have promoted the integration in the classroom of educational robotics and the establishment of some of the necessary elements and recommendations to design an intervention based on the use of robotics in the stage of early childhood education, also establishing the limitations and difficulties that such intervention may implicitly carry.
