EUROSION ¡s a project commissioned by the General Directorate Environment of the European Commission with an overall objective: to provide the European Commission with a package of policy recommendations for a coherent and addressed management of the coastal erosion in Europe. The final report will be based on the trends of coastal erosion study and a digital geographical database at scale 1 :l 00000 meant to provide input data for the calculation of indicators, policy-makers of the status and trends of relevant features such as elevation and bathymetry, infrastructure, hydrographical features, littoral geo-morphological aspects, sea level rise, driving forces, pressures and coastal reporting. The IGME has updated the Coastal Erosion Layer (CEL), concerning to the Spanish coast, of the digital database with new data for geological atributes (CESG) and data availibiblity (CEDA) usign the methodology proposed for the BRGM (Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières).
