Francisco de Quevedo y Ferdinand Céline comparten el genio y la abyección, con ellos se pasa del deslumbramiento literario a la decepción de la persona. Presento la vida y la obra de estos dos escritores como existencias entrelazadas y distintas, que obedecen a un carácter común: el temperamento satírico. La primera intención de este trabajo será ofrecer una explicación de la desconcertante discordia con el propósito de ofrecer un camino para comprender la relación que existe entre el genio y el hombre. El segundo objetivo será analizar las cartas de la cárcel de Quevedo y Céline. Por supuesto, el carácter satírico funciona también como un recuadro dentro del cual adquiere mayor relieve la explicación que expondré sobre las cartas.

Francisco de Quevedo and Ferdinand Céline share genius and abjection, with them one passes from literary glare to the disappointment of the person. I present the life and work of these two writers as intertwined and distinct existences which obey a common character: the satirical temperament. The first intention of this work will be to offer an explanation of the disconcerting discord in order to offer a way to understand the relationship that exists between genius and man. The second objective will be to analyze the letters from the Quevedo and Céline jail. Of course, the satirical character also functions as a box within which the explanation that I will expose about the letters acquires greater importance.
