    El artículo trata de tres contextos u horizontes en que se ha vivido o pensado la relación entre religión y ética: 1) el contexto histórico -social y cultural- antiguo (en especial, el griego y el hebreo); 2) el moderno, que a su vez se divide en dos modalidades, la modernidad desde la "autonomía" (Kant) y la modernidad desde la "muerte de Dios" (Hegel y Nietzsche); y 3) para finalizar, se muestran algunos caminos posibles en el contexto contemporáneo por los que cabe comprender la nueva simbiosis entre ética y religión (Habermas y Cortina).

    Der Artikel befasst sich mit drei Kontexten oder Horizonten, in denen die Beziehung zwischen Religion und Ethik gelebt oder über sie nachgedacht wurde:

    1) den historischen - sozialen und kulturellen - Kontext der Antike (insbesondere die griechische und hebräische); 2) den modernen, der wiederum in zwei Modalitäten unterteilt ist, Modernität ausgehend von der "Autonomie" (Kant) und Modernität ausgehend von "dem Tod Gottes" (Hegel und Nietzsche); und 3) zum Schluss werden einige mögliche Wege im zeitgenössischen Kontext aufgezeigt, anhand derer die neue Symbiose zwischen Ethik und Religion verstanden werden kann (Habermas und Cortina).

    The article looks at three contexts or horizons in which the relationship between religion and ethics has been lived or thought about: 1) the ancient (especially Greek and Hebrew) historical –social and cultural- context; 2) the modern one, which in turn is divided into two modalities can be distinguished, modernity based on "autonomy" (Kant) and modernity based on "the death of God" (Hegel and Nietzsche); and 3) finally, some possible ways in the contemporary context through which the new symbiosis between ethics and religion can be understood (Habermas and Cortina).
