    Se aporta un registro de Pristimantis orcus situado en un enclave selvático adyacente al cauce medio del río Mazán, situado en la provincia de Loreto, al norte de Perú. Se amplía el rango distributivo conocido para la especie en 210 kilómetros hacia el nordeste, desde la localidad tipo. Este registro tiene la peculiaridad de estar fechado en 1992, diecisiete años antes de que la especie fuera descrita científicamente en 2009. Así como el interés de sumarse a las ocho únicas localizaciones conocidas hasta el momento, siete de ellas en territorio peruano y una en brasileño. Se incluyen anotaciones sobre biometría y fenología reproductiva.

    Peru iparraldeko Loreto eskualdean, Mazán ibaiaren erdi ibilguko eremu oihantsuan, Pristimantis orcus espeziearen aipu bat gehitzen da. Espeziearen banaketa area hedatu egiten da, ordura arteko aipu ezagunetatik 210 kilometro ipar-ekialdera. Azken aipu honen berezitasuna da 1992an jaso izan zela, espeziea zientziarako izendatu (2009) baino 17 urte lehenago. Orain arte ezagutzen ziren zortzi kokalekuetara gehitzen da aipu berria, zazpi Perun lekutu dira eta bakarra Brasilen. Biometria eta ugaltze-fenologiaren inguruko oharrak gehitzen dira.

    A record is provided of Pristimantis orcus located in a jungle enclave adjacent to the midsegment of the river Mazán, situated in the province of Loreto, in northern Perú, extending the known distribution range by 210 kilometres northeast, of its type locality. The peculiarity of this record is that it is dated in 1992, seventeen years before the species was described in 2009. This new record is the eighth location known until now for P. orcus, seven locations having been discovered in Peru and one in Brazil. This article includes notes on biometrics and reproductive phenology.
