  • Resumen
    • After reviewing briefly the evolution of computer‐managed learning (CML), this paper examines some current and possible future developments of CML in Australia. Specifically considered is CML in technical and further education (TAFE), with reference to similar developments in one university and one secondary school. Educationists involved with CML are enthusiastic yet growth is slow Could this be because CML concentrates on examination and analysis rather than, say, computer‐assisted learning or computer‐assisted instruction (CAL, CAI) Because learning precedes examination and analysis, educationists may be apprehensive about placing the CML cart before the CAL horse
