    Convenientemente anotada, se publica la información sobre el martirio de 26 cristianos japoneses, tres de los cuales habían profesado como agustinos recoletos y otros 23 eran terciarios de la misma Orden.

    El martirio había tenido lugar en la ciudad de Omura el 28 de septiembre de 1630, y la información se sustancia ante el tribunal de Macao en diciembre de ese mismo año sobre la base del testimonio escrito de los beatos Francisco de Jesús y Vicente de San Antonio, presos en la misma cárcel de Omura.

    The information on the martyrdom of 26 Japanese Christians is published with proper annotation. Three of them were professed Augustinian Recollects and another 23 were tertiaries of the same Order. The martyrdom had taken place in the city of Omura on September 28, 1630, and the information was substantiated before the Macao court in December of that same year on the basis of the written testimony of Blessed Francisco de Jesús and Vicente de San Antonio, prisoners in the same jail of Omura.
