    El escrito trata sobre las espiritualidades de los colectivos chinos que arribaron al puerto de Puntarenas y comunidades aledañas en las últimas décadas decimonónicas. Se invita al lector a conocer el significado que tuvieron en la vida de estos inmigrantes, que, además de ayudarles a reafirmar la chinicidad, también les permitió sobrellevar el desarraigo y lejanía de sus seres queridos y de su patria. Denominado en su conjunto como chinoespiritualidades, se ahonda en la influencia que estos postulados morales, éticos y filosóficos provenientes de escuelas de pensamiento chino lograron establecer en el imaginario de los inmigrantes.

    The writing deals with the spiritualities of the Chinese collectives that arrived at the port of Puntarenas and surrounding communities in the last decades of the nineteenth century. The reader is invited to know the meaning they had in the lives of these immigrants, which in addition to helping them to reaffirm the chinicidad, also allowed them to cope with the uprooting and distance of their loved ones and their homeland. Denominated as a whole as chinoespiritualities, it delves into the influence that these moral, ethical and philosophical postulates from Chinese schools of thought manage to establish in the imaginery of immigrants.
