El siguiente documento tiene por objetivo profundizar en la situación actual del movimiento yihadista en Túnez tras la ilegalización y posterior desaparición gradual de Ansar al-Sharia, trazando para ello una línea temporal desde la Revolución Tunecina que ayuda a contextualizar tanto la aparición y evolución de grupos terroristas como los diferentes retos a los que deberá enfrentarse el país en futuro. Además, con la intención de facilitar futuros análisis, el documento incluye un mapa interactivo actualizado que detalla la actividad terrorista desde 2013.

The main aim of this document is to go in depth in the current situation of the jihadist phenomenon in Tunisia after the outlawing and subsequent gradual vanishing of Ansar al-Sharia. For that purpose a timeline starting from the Tunisian Revolution has been set in order to provide a better context both of the appearance and evolution of terrorist groups in Tunisia as well as the different challenges that the country will have to face in the future. Furthermore, with the purpose of conducting further analyses, the document also includes an updated interactive map tracking terrorist activity since 2013.
