Conducta y resiliencia en pacientes drogodependientes recaídos de las comunidades terapéuticas de Portoviejo durante el año 2019

    La adicción a las drogas es una enfermedad que ha afectado a la sociedad durante años, y de manera más directa a las familias, que son las que sufren las mayores consecuencias, en muchos casos fatales. El objetivo de esta investigación fue identificar problemas de conducta y el nivel de resiliencia que tienen los pacientes que han recaido en la droga en las comunidades terapéuticas de la ciudad de Portoviejo durante el año 2019. La metodología aplicada fue descriptiva y exploratoria, con enfoque cualitativo-cuantitativo. Se realizaron encuestas y test de resiliencia en sesenta pacientes de las cuatro comunidades terapéuticas de esta ciudad. También se realizó una entrevista a los cuatro psicólogos clínicos de estas instituciones. Estas técnicas revelaron que los niveles de resiliencia de los pacientes estudiados están entre el promedio y el alto, y los directores de los centros terapéuticos han identificado sus cambios de comportamiento. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron la necesidad de llevar a cabo acciones que contribuyan a mejorar la conducta de estos pacientes y permitan su recuperación, lo que se puede lograr con una terapia adecuada.

    Drug addiction is a disease that has affected society for years, and more directly to families, who suffer the greatest consequences, in many cases fatal. The objective of this research was to identify behavioral problems and the level of resilience that patients who have relapsed to the drug have in the therapeutic communities of the city of Portoviejo during the year 2019. The applied methodology was descriptive and exploratory, with a qualitative-quantitative approach. Surveys and resilience tests were carried out on sixty patients from the four therapeutic communities in this city. An interview was also conducted with the four clinical psychologists from these institutions. These techniques revealed that the resilience levels of the studied patients are between average and high, and the directors of the therapeutic centers have identified their behavioral changes. The results obtained demonstrated the need to carry out actions that contribute to improving the behavior of these patients and allow their recovery, which can be achieved with adequate therapy.
