    El artículo analiza la evolución histórica del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la asignatura Química desde la dimensión ambiental en la Educación Preuniversitaria, sus tendencias históricas a partir del desarrollo de los diferentes planes de estudios en Cuba. Se presenta el diagnóstico del estado actual del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la asignatura y del tratamiento al contenido, con un reflejo de los referentes teóricos que sirven de sustento al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de este contenido para fundamentar el modelo que se propone. Se define como objetivo caracterizar cada una de las etapas de los aspectos significativos y puntuales en la articulación de la Educación Ambiental en Cuba en la asignatura de Química en la enseñanza preuniversitaria, para lograr su cumplimiento se utilizaron como métodos el de análisis síntesis, histórico lógico, inducción deducción, y la revisión bibliográfica.

    The article analyzes the historical evolution of the teaching-learning process of the Chemistry subject from the environmental dimension in Pre-University Education, its historical trends from the development of the different study plans in Cuba. The diagnosis of the current state of the teaching-learning process of the subject and the treatment of the content is presented, with a reflection of the theoretical references that support the teaching-learning process of this content to support the proposed model. The objective is defined to characterizeeach of the stages of the significant and specific aspects in the articulation of Environmental Education in Cuba in the subject of Chemistry in pre-university education, to achieve its fulfillment, the methods of synthetic analysis, logical historical, induction deduction, and bibliographic review.
