Resumen de Interstitial Fictions in B_RR_C_L: Series Interstitial Poetics: La arquitectura interna como espacio intersticial en Berrocal

  Interstitial Fictions in B_RR_C_L es un proyecto que desarrolla como estrategia una ficción a partir de los espacios intersticiales fruto del juego de montaje/desmontaje en la obra del escultor Miguel de Berrocal; en alusión al vacío y su ocupación, y que remiten a los espacios intermedios que en su reducción aproximan y conectan las piezas de estas esculturas en sus diferentes series. Entre el encaje de las piezas vislumbramos un conjunto de imperceptibles espacios que acorta distancias, cierra huecos, reduce el aire, y todo aquello que queda en medio, entre, en lo intermedio, en ese espacio intersticial que da sentido a la parte y al todo de estas esculturas desmontables.El hecho de que la figura de Berrocal desde su faceta más interdisciplinar actúa de conector entre disciplinas lo hace aún más intersticial en una dimensión balcanizada de las artes, dando razón y ser a lo multidisciplinar. Es por todo ello que encontramos poéticas formales y ficciones intersticiales en la acción del montaje/desmontaje hasta poder plantear en esta aproximación un desarrollo ficticio o ficcionado de una arquitectura ‘intermedial’ desde tres estrategias de lo ‘intersticial’.

  Interstitial Fictions in B_RR_C_L is a project that has developed as a strategy a fiction based on the interstitial spaces that are the result of the game of assembly/disassembly in the work of the sculptor Miguel de Berrocal; in reference to the void and its occupation, and that refers to the intermediate spaces that in their reduction bring together and connect the pieces of these sculptures in their different series. Between the fitting together of the pieces we glimpse a set of imperceptible spaces that shorten distances, close gaps, reduce the air, and everything that is in between, between, in that interstitial space that gives meaning to the part and the whole of these detachable sculptures.The fact that Berrocal's figure, from its most interdisciplinary facet, acts as a connector between disciplines makes it even more interstitial in a balkanised dimension of the arts, giving reason and being to the multidisciplinary. That is why we find formal poetics and interstitial fictions in the action of assembly/disassembly until we can propose in this approach a fictitious or fictional approach to an 'intermediate' architecture from three strategies of the 'interstitial'.
