  • Resumen
    • The use of computers to deliver management training will expand dramatically in the 1990s due to the growth in the use of information technology (IT) by managers and the parallel trend of greater emphasis on training. Senior managers are overcoming their fears, spurned ahead by the necessity to come to grips with new technology. The prime mover, however, is the demand for management training. Computer‐based training (CBT) as a method of delivery is very well suited to the task of improving the quality and quantity of management training. This article will explore the factors contributing to the expected increase in demand and the reasons why computer‐based management training (CBMT) is likely to thrive.
