This paper investigates decision makers’ trusting perceptions and environmental behavior at university institutions. More concretely, we address two main influences. First, we explore the societal demands of different groups regarding the integration of sustainability into university education, as a key tool for guaranteeing future sustainability of a socio-economical growth model. And second, we investigate how decision makers’ perceptions about the advantages, disadvantages and technical qualification of the groups involved in the centre may influence the decision maker’s willingness to develop a more proactive environmental behavior.
