Resumen de La pronúncia dels neologismes en català

Aquest article sintetitza el treball de recerca efectuat l'estiu de 2001 en el qual es presentava un estudi sobre l'ortologia dels neologismes. L'elecció d'aquest camp de treball ve determinada pel buit en la lexicografia, en la dialectologia i en la fonètica catalanes respecte a aquesta qüestió. A més, hem constatat la manca d'unitat entre els distints criteris ortològics adoptats. El treball realitzat té com a objecte d'anàlisi els neologismes formals i els manlleus, ja que presenten dificultats de caire ortològic per la combinació complexa de propietats foneticofonològiques, semàntiques i etnolingüístiques. La nostra recerca prova de sistematitzar la pronunciació d'aquests tipus de neologismes en les variants estàndard dels dialectes majoritaris a Catalunya: el nord-occidental (lleidatà) i el central. Per tant, considerem que llur adaptació fònica al català és el primer pas per aconseguir que la seua integració al sistema lingüístic suposi un enriquiment lèxic.

This article deals with research based on the orthoepy of neologisms and synthesizes all the research work carried out throughout the summer of 2001. The choice as a work field derives from the fact that there is a vacuum in Catalan lexicography, dialectology and phonetics. Moreover, we confirm the lack of unity between the different orthologic criteria adopted. The aim of this work is to analyse the formal neologisms and borrowings, since they display orthologic difficulties due to the complex combination of phoneticophonologic, semantic and ethnolinguistic properties. Our research tries to systematize the pronunciation of these types of neologisms within the standard variants of the major dialects in Catalonia: North-Western and Central Catalan. Therefore, we consider their phonetic adaptation to Catalan is the first step so as to ensure that its integration into the linguistic system assumes a lexical enrichment.
