  • Physiography and soils of the SE Santiago del Estero province by means of "Landsat" imagery.-In this work major attention is devoted to a general description of the physiography and soils in the southeastern region of Santiago del Estero province (Argentina).Subsequently, some suggestions about methodological aspects of thematic cartography at small scales through LANDSAT imagery are made. Advantages and limitations of such images for physiographic and edaphic interpretation are evaluated.
