Resumen de A Photographic Process Using Easily Available Reagents

Sergey Slyusarev

  • A photographic process that employs inexpensive and easy to find reagents [ascorbic acid, copper sulfate (CuSO4), and sodium hydrogen carbonate (NaHCO3)] is presented. As with other photographic processes, it can be used to demonstrate the effects light can have on chemical reactions in an entertaining manner, allowing students to exercise their creativity. The main advantage of the presented process, compared to many other photographic processes, is its accessibility in circumstances when specialized chemicals are unavailable or undesirable.
