    • In the beginning of the 20th century; Seismology was a science in process of formation. The first seismograph was installed in Spain in 1898, but all scientists in the world, really, they unknown many matters and questions about the earthquakes, specially the main theories about what is an earthquake? and why is produced?. In this state-of-art, a few men of several sciences, as meteorologists, astronomers, geologists and other naturalists studied the seismic phenomena with a very important scientific curiosity. The great geologist Jiménez de Cisneros sent to "Real Sociedad de Historia Natural", of Madrid, between the years 1907 to 1911 a few informs and two shorts articles concerning personal perception of earthquakes in Alicante and only one in Murcia.
