¿Quiénes son los jóvenes?: una mirada a su religiosidad desde lo social

    Se analiza el tema de las identidades juveniles en su dimensión religiosa en México. Parte de dos ideas: que su inserción al mundo adulto es problemática y que la institución Iglesia y el ámbito de lo sagrado poco impacto tiene en sus vidas. Explora la relación que mantienen con dicho ámbito, en concreto con los valores que les ofrece la Iglesia, la religión y el lugar que tiene la divinidad en su cotidianidad. Se consultó a 44 universitarios; primero se les requirió ver la película “99 minutos en el cielo” y después que respondieran por escrito un cuestionario que no hace referencia particular a un dios o a un credo. Concluye que los descubre desacralizados y disminuidos en su vida espiritual y critica a la institución Iglesia, en especial a la católica, porque les ha dejado vacíos de la relación comunitaria con el misterio y pregunta: si el numen cristiano ha terminado desacralizado ante el embate de la posmodernidad.

    The issue of youth identities in their religious dimension is analyzed in Mexico. Part of two ideas: that their insertion into the adult world is problematic and that the church institution and the sphere of the sacred, has little impact on their lives. It explores the relationship they maintain with the realm of the sacred, in particular with the values offered by the church, religion and the place that divinity has in their daily lives. 44 university students were consulted, first they were required to watch the movie “99 minutes in the sky” and after they answered a questionnaire in writing, in which no particular reference is made to a god or a creed. He concludes that he discovers that he is somewhat desacralized and diminished in his spiritual life and critical of the church institution, especially the Catholic one, because he has left them empty of the community relationship with the mystery and asks: if the Christian numen has ended desacralized before the onslaught of postmodernity.
