    El presente trabajo pretende dilucidar el impacto que tuvo la Revolución Rusa (en especial la de Octubre de 1917) en las viñetas de humor de la prensa española. Se parte de dos premisas: que el tema candente del momento era la marcha de la Gran Guerra y que el conflicto había conseguido dividir a la opinión pública española. Y, en segundo lugar, que c ualquier otro acontecimiento de índole internacional iba a tener difícil romper una agenda periodística tan volcada en un acontecimiento mundial y masivo. Para realizar el análisis nos fijamos tanto en caricaturas de prensa humorística como en viñetas de la prensa generalista.

    This paper aims to elucidate the impact of the Russian Revolution (especially the one in October 1917) on the satiric cartoons of the Spanish press. It is based on two premises: that the hot topic of the moment was the march of the Great War and that the conflict had managed to divide the Spanish public opinion. Any other international event was going to have a hard time breaking in the journalistic agenda so focused on a global and massive event. To conduct the analysis, we look at both, cartoons of the humorous press and vignettes of generalist press.
