Resumen de Electronic Government for Trust Building

  • The term “trust in government” is a widely used terminology both in academic and popular fields; however, the concept of “electronic government for trust building” is comparatively new. OECD (2019) understands trust as holding a positive perception about the actions of an individual or an organization. Trust is defined as a willingness to rely on others to act on our behalf based on the belief that they possess the capacity to make effective decisions and take our interests into account (Houston and Harding 2014). Trust in government indicates the confident expectations and the willingness to be vulnerable from citizens toward government as a body, individuals, or its policy (Farazmand 2018).
