    • Today’s global sustainability challenges will be difficult to meaningfully confront in the absence of both leadership and education (UNEP 2012). According to change management literature, resistance to change should be anticipated as a normal human reaction to change (Hiatt and Creasey 2012, p. 22). Relatedly, the question is not so much whether there will be resistance to change, but rather how resistance to change may be managed throughout the change process. Expressed in simple language, people everywhere resist change (Luetz et al. 2019a).
