Resumen de Teoría intuitiva sobre la atracción gravitacional en el nivel superior

  A partir de los preconceptos que se observan en los estudiantes de ingeniería sobre la atracción gravitacional, modelamos una teoría intuitiva con la que analizamos la falta de coherencia que se observa en algunas explicaciones que dan los alumnos a problemas en este campo. Esta teoría intuitiva que obtuvimos no es compatible con la teoría de Gravitación Universal de Newton y es solamente una posible representación del esquema cognitivo que tienen los alumnos sobre fuerza de atracción gravitacional. Para este estudio utilizamos una muestra de 110 alumnos de primer ingreso a ingeniería de las 10 licenciaturas que se imparten en nuestra Universidad. La metodología se basó en un test de doble entrada con respuesta cerrada y justificación libre de la respuesta. Los resultados muestran regularidades en los preconceptos que nos permiten relacionarlos para construir una teoría intuitiva que reproduzca las respuestas de los alumnos al test planteado.

  Based on the preconceptions observed in engineering students about gravitational attraction, we model an intuitive theory with which we analyze the lack of coherence observed in some explanations that students give to problems in this field. This intuitive theory that we obtained is not compatible with Newton's theory of Universal Gravitation and is only a possible representation of the cognitive scheme that students have on the gravitational force of attraction. For this study we used a sample of 110 first-year engineering students from the 10 bachelor’s degrees taught at our University. The methodology was based on a double entry test with closed response and free justification of the response. The results show regularities in the preconceptions that allow us to relate them to build an intuitive theory that reproduces the students' responses to the proposed test.
