    En España, el término 'medicina gráfica' circula por blogs, cibersitios y redes sociales desde hace un par de años. Sin embargo, la información que se ofrece es, cuando menos, insuficiente. El objetivo de este trabajo es arrojar luz sobre este campo de suma utilidad para profesionales de la salud, pacientes, cuidadores y población general; un campo que, en parte, no es tan reciente como se piensa.

    In Spain, the term 'graphic medicine' has been swarming through blogs, websites and social networks throughout the last two years. However, the information offered is inadequate at best. The aim of this work is to shed light on this extremely useful field for health professionals, patients, caregivers and the general population; a field that may not be as new as it is believed.
