    Esta intervención, centrada en cuatro interrogantes, tiene como objetivos primordiales analizar la simbología urbana y funeraria de la ciudad de Priego de Córdoba a finales del siglo XIX, y establecer sus relaciones con sus moradores —las élites económicas y políticas—. Así, se ofrece un primer aporte histórico sobre los orígenes, la evolución y los personajes históricos de la filantrópica burguesía liberal prieguense, junto a sus contactos y a sus actuaciones filomasónicas.

    This intervention, centered on four questions, has as its main objectives to analyze the urban and funerary symbology of the city of Priego de Córdoba towards the end of the 19th century, establishing the relationship with its inhabitants - the economic and political elites. In this way, a first historical introduction is presented on the origins, evolution and the historical figures of the philanthropic liberal bourgeois, along with their connections and philomasonic deeds.
