Resumen de El ser humano en el paisaje: contemplación y memoria

  El paisaje es una realidad poliédrica. Habrá tantos paisajes como ojos lo contemplen, y tantas interpretaciones del mismo como narradores y artistas lo observen y aborden. Particularmente los novelistas, con la palabra, y los pintores, con las diversas técnicas, cuentan y recrean los paisajes que nos rodean y esos otros que un día existieron. Desde siempre la literatura nos ha enseñado a contemplar y a amar el paisaje, aunque éste se ha interpretado en claves diferentes. Son los poetas los que se apropian del paisaje con más insistencia en su obra. Los narradores lo utilizan principalmente como mecanismo de ambientación de las tramas narrativas. Y el mismo sincretismo que hay entre la literatura y el paisaje se produce entre éste y la pintura.

  A landscape is a polyhedral reality. There will be as many landscapes as many eyes do see it, and as many interpretations there of as many narrators and artists observe and broach it.

  Particularly novelists, with the word, and painters, by means of diverse techniques, tell and recreate the landscapes that surround us, and those others that existed one day. Literature has always taught us to love and stare at the landscape, even if it has been interpreted in different keys. It is the poets who more insistently appropriate the landscape in their works. Narrators mainly use it as a setting mechanism for the narrative storylines. And the same syncretism between literature and the landscape is produced between this and painting as well.
