The entrance of new technologies into the contemporary art infers in the development of different artistic disciplines. In the theatre, the directors and theatrical companies, under the premise of experimentation, incorporate intermediality as a scenographic resource through the use of audiovisuals, in particular videoart. Thus, the research tries to argue the expansion of modes of representation and staging through the use of audiovisual techniques. At the same time a case study about the artist Manolo Carrasco is presented who through the use of these make that the boundaries between dance, theater or performances are diffused.
