Resumen de La scrittura epistolare di Francesca Fieschi Gonzaga, tra famiglia e politica

Nel corso del Cinquecento, molte furono le donne che si dedicarono alla stesura di documenti privati con l’intento di dar loro un obiettivo immediato e utilitario. Una di queste donne fu la contessa Francesca Fieschi Gonzaga, meglio nota per essere stata la moglie di Ludovico Gonzaga, madre di Rodomonte e di Giulia Gonzaga, nonché nonna di Vespasiano Gonzaga. L’obiettivo del presente articolo sarà, in base all’analisi dei documenti redatti o dettati, dalla stessa Gonzaga e attualmente custoditi presso gli Archivi di Stato di Torino, nella sezione “Materie politiche per rapporto all’interno. Lettere particolari”, di spiegare le caratteristiche linguistiche a livello grafico, fonetico, morfosintattico lessicale dei suddetti scritti, per valutare le qualità del vernacolo utilizzato

During the sixteenth century, a lot of women worked on the creation of confidential papers and their target was to give them an immediate and useful objective. One of these women was the Countess Francesca Fieschi Gonzaga, also known as the wife of Ludovico Gonzaga, the mother of Rodomonte and Giulia Gonzaga and the grandmother of Vespasiano Gonzaga as well. Documents drawn up by the Countess are currently held in the National Archives of Turin, section “Political matters for internal relations. Special letters”. Aim of this article is, starting from the analysis of the aforementioned documents, to describe, at graphic, phonetic, morphosyntactic and lexical levels, the linguistic characteristics and to evaluate the quality of the vernacular used.
