El objetivo del presente estudio consiste en realizar la biografía de María Luisa González, una de las primeras estudiantes universitarias, con una importante trayectoria profesional pero olvidada por la historia. En ella se recoge información sobre su nacimiento; su etapa de estudiante universitaria en Salamanca y Madrid; su estrecha relación con parte de los miembros de la Generación del 27; su exilio tras el estallido de la Guerra Civil española y, a consecuencia de ello, su desarrollo profesional en Francia, Rusia y China, llegando a ocupar cátedras de español o literatura española; y, finalmente, su regreso a España donde falleció en 1998.

The aim of the present study is to make the biography of María Luisa González, one of the first university students, with an important professional career but forgotten by history. It contains information about her birth; her phase as an university student in Salamanca and Madrid; her close relationship with part of the members of the Generation of '27; her exile after the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War and, as a result, her professional development in France, Russia and China, eventually occupying chairs of Spanish language or Spanish literature; and, finally, her return to Spain where she died in 1998.
