Resumen de O Paraguai em busca das águas

This article makes use of diplomacts documents and bibliographic references with the objective that study Paraguay and his disagreements in relation to Brazil and Argentina between 1962 and 1966 about the use of the waters of the Paraná River in the geopolitical context of the Bacia do Prata. Despite it is a smaller state, the Paraguay was able to take advantage of the disputes between its neighbors to achieve its goals, being the case the construction of hydroelectric plants and free navigation on the Paraná River.

Este artigo faz uso de documentos diplomáticos e referências bibliográficas afim de tratar dos impasses diplomáticos que o Paraguai vivenciou em relação ao Brasil e a Argentina entre 1962 e 1966 a respeito da utilização das águas do Rio Paraná no contexto geopolítico da Bacia do Prata. Mesmo sendo um Estado menor, o Paraguai soube tirar proveito das disputas entre seus vizinhos para conquistar seus objetivos sendo a construção de usinas hidrelétricas e a livre-navegação no Rio Paraná.
