Resumen de An Innovative Approach to International Hospitality and Tourism Management Education: the Traveling Summer Abroad Program

In an effort to encourage our peer institutions to consider adding this to their repertoire of international opportunities for students, the authors describe an innovative approach to summer abroad - the traveling program. The program design, planning, budgeting and other activities are reviewed and compared to the stationary program format. The rewards of the international experience are multifaceted. This review of the traveling summer abroad experience will help other program directors weigh the benefits and personal preferences for including this option for their own students.
