En este capítulo, en primer lugar, se va a analizar el estado actual de las relaciones entre la UE y China en la dimensión política, económica-comercial. En segundo lugar, las tensas relaciones políticas y comerciales entre la UE y EE. UU. en la Administración Trump. En tercer lugar, las díficiles relaciones interdependientes entre EE. UU. y China que afectan a la UE. Por último, de la comparativa resultante en los tres primeros apartados se llevan a cabo unas reflexiones finales sobre cómo abordar el dilema, las oportunidades y las perspectivas futuras de hacia dónde debe ir la UE en la dualidad entre ambas grandes potencias internacionales.

In this chapter, firstly, will be analyzed the current state of relations between the EU and China in the political, economic-commercial dimension. Second, the strained political and trade relations between the EU and the US in the Trump Administration era. Third, the tense interdependent relations between the US and China and its impact in the EU. Finally, from the resulting comparison in the first three sections, I will expose some final reflections on how to tackle the dilemma, the opportunities and the future perspectives of where the EU should go in the duality between the two big international powers.
