    Questo lavoro è relazionato alla tesi di dottorato in Architecture environment and design presso la School of Advanced Studies dell’ Università degli Studi di Camerino riguardante le trasformazioni degli insediamenti turistici costruiti negli anni ’60-’70 sulla costa italiana delle Marche. Il presente articolo affronta la problematica della riqualificazione, recupero e riuso delle destinazioni turistiche balneari considerando le evoluzioni del turismo e le nuove modalità di abitare scaturite dall’intensificazione della mobilità internazionale come quadro di riferimento analitico-teorico per interpretare le necessità di rinnovo rispetto alle dinamiche contemporanee osservate. Prosegue analizzando le trasformazioni recenti della costa adriatica italiana delle Marche ed infine discute il ruolo delle aree urbano/turistiche costiere rispetto alla necessità di promuovere strategie di riorganizzazione di queste aree all’interno di una nuova geografia urbana

    This work is related to the PHD thesis of Architecture, Environment and design, PhD Curriculum in Knowledge and Design of Urban Landscape, at the School of Advanced Studies of the University of Camerino, concerning the transformation of tourist resorts built in the 1960s and 1970s along the Italian coasts of the Marche region. The present article deals with the problems involved in the requalification, recover and renewal of beach destinations in consideration of the evolution of the tourism and the new ways of living resulting from the intensification of international mobility as an analytic and theoretical reference for the interpretation of renovation necessities in respect to the observed contemporary dynamics. It further analyzes the recent transformations of the Italian Adriatic coast of the Marche region and finally discusses the role of the urban/tourist coastal areas which are ready to promote reorganization strategies within a new urban geographical framework.
