Resumen de Cuerpo y piel a partir de la experimentación en el bioarte

  En el arte contemporáneo se ven múltiples manifestaciones creativas en donde la piel tiene un rol diferente: como objeto o sujeto para ser el punto central de la obra y transmutar significantes, así como juicios íntimos estéticos. En el bioarte, la piel se convierte en una herramienta de representación que permite resignificar lo conocido y valores interpretativos. Este trabajo experimenta con el microorganismo “Medusomyces gisevi”, modificando sus condiciones físicas y químicas para conseguir una materia prima que permite representar la piel en una propuesta artística enfocada a traspasar metáforas de conceptos preestablecidos del arte cuya temática se basó en las huellas que el dolor y sufrimiento pueden dejar en los seres humanos como iniciador de reflexiones hacia profundidades dialécticas que la producción de Cuerpo y Piel permitan.

  In contemporary art multiple creative manifestations are seen where the skin has a different role: as an object or subject to be the central point of the work and transmute significant as well as intimate aesthetic judgments. In bioart, the skin becomes a representation tool that allows resignifying the known and interpretative values. This work experiments with the microorganism “Medusomyces gisevi, modifying its physical and chemical conditions to obtain a raw material that allows the skin to be represented in an artistic proposal focused on transferring metaphors of pre-established concepts of art whose theme was based on the traces that pain and suffering can leave on human beings as the initiator of reflections towards dialectical depths that the production of Body and Skin allow.
