Resumen de Terra incognita :: hallazgos de manuscritos inéditos del ICOVV

  La revisión de los fondos bibliográficos de las bibliotecas de nuestros colegios profesionales en ocasiones aporta resultados no imaginados. El presente trabajo recoge los pormenores del descubrimiento y las tareas de identificación de un manuscrito catalogado hasta ahora como anónimo perteneciente a la biblioteca histórica del Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Veterinarios de Valencia (ICOVV), pero del que tras su estudio se obtiene como autoría de D. Juan Morcillo Olalla, no identificado ni descrito en ningún estudio previo. Para poder conseguir el objetivo planteado de fijar este hecho, se ha realizado un análisis a tres niveles: físico, grafológico y de contenido de la obra. Tras el análisis a estos tres niveles, se han evidenciado bases suficientes que permiten establecer la hipótesis inicial como cierta, además de plantear los pasos a seguir para la puesta en valor de este patrimonio histórico veterinario.

  The review of the bibliographic collections of the libraries of Veterinary colleges sometimes offers unimagined results. The present work gathers the details of the discovery and identification of a manuscript cataloged so far as anonymous belonging to the historical library of the Official Veterinary College of Valencia (ICOVV), this study concludes that the author of the manuscript is Mr Juan Morcillo Olalla, being not identified or previously described. In order to achieve the objective, an analysis was carried out at three levels: physical, graphological and content of the work. After the analysis enough probes have been evidenced that supports the hypothesis. Furthermore, it sets out the steps that should be taken to enhance this veterinary historical heritage.
