    Entre 1550 y 1800 se construyeron o reedificaron diversos puentes en la provincia de Mondoñedo con la finalidad de mejorar la circulación de personas y mercancías en el Camino Real. El objetivo del presente trabajo es dar a conocer las infraestructuras que se erigieron y repararon, así como su morfología, patrocinadores, método de financiación, y por supuesto los arquitectos, ingenieros y maestros de obras que las diseñaron y edificaron, siendo la mayor parte de ellos procedentes de Cantabria.

    Between 1550 and 1800 several bridges were built or rebuilt in the province of Mondoñedo with the aim of improving the movement of people and goods on the Camino Real. The aim of this paper is to make known the infrastructures that were built and repaired, as well as their morphology, sponsors, method of financing, and of course the architects, engineers and master builders who designed and built those infrastructures, most of them coming from Cantabria.
