    Este artículo pretende analizar la primera obra de Juan Benet, la recopilación de novelas cortas Nunca llegarás a nada, aparecida en 1961, con el objetivo de demostrar como el universo narrativo del autor de Volverás a Región empieza a forjarse ya en este primer experimento literario. Tanto desde el punto de vista del estilo (o de lo que el mismo Benet definió como grand style), como desde el del contenido, veremos en qué sentido estas novelas cortas plasman un mundo en el que las mismas categorías de espacio y de tiempo se relativizan, convirtiendo las mismas obras en enigmas irresolubles.

    This article aims to analyze the first work of Juan Benet, the collection of short novels Nunca llegarás a nada, appeared in 1961, with the aim of demonstrating how the narrative universe of the author of Volverás a Región begins to be forged already in this first literary experiment. Both from the point of view of the style (or from what Benet himself defined as grand style), as from that of the content, we will see in what sense these short novels shape a world in which the same categories of space and time are relativized, turning the works themselves into irresolvable riddles.
