    En este artículos los autores revelan el proceso investigativo desarrollado en la Carrera de Derecho, UNIANDES, Riobamba, Ecuador para el reducir la ausencia de la dimensión ambiental en el currículo del futuro jurista. El empleo de métodos de investigación, el trabajo colaborativo y la valoración de los resultados propició la aplicación de un sistema de acciones sustentadas en los postulados del Modelo educativo de UNIANDES y las perspectivas más actuales del Derecho ambiental. El reconocimiento de tres niveles del pensamiento ambiental: el de la ciencia, representada por los investigadores de la universidad, el de la población; por último, el de  los decisores, recibió una particular atención en el proceso de la investigación.

    In this article the authors reveal the investigative process developed in the Career of Right, UNIANDES, Riobamba, Ecuador for reducing the absence of the environmental dimension in the future jurist's curriculum. The employment of investigation methods, the collaborative work and the valuation of the results propitiated the application of a system of actions sustained in the postulates of the educational Pattern of UNIANDES and the most current perspectives in the environmental Right. The recognition of three levels of the environmental thought: that of the science, represented by the investigators of the population's universidad,el,; lastly, that of the decisores, received a particular attention in the process of the investigation.
