  • The functional disruption of the hypothalamic networks that regulate body composition causes hypothalamic obesity (HO) (Fig. 1).1–4 Hypothalamic involvement of craniopharyngioma (CP) and/or damage to hypothalamic structures caused by surgical and/or radio-oncological interventions are associated with severe sequelae, mainly HO, with negative impact on quality of life in survivors of childhood-onset CP.5–1
