    El presente artículo investigación avoca por una descripción jurídica en construcción acerca de la figura del uso de la fuerza por parte de la Institución de la Policía Nacional en el marco del conflicto armado que ha atravesado Colombia por un poco más de medio siglo, los usos y razones que la avocan, y la relación jurídico internacional que la prevalece desde su nacimiento. Para su efectivo tratamiento, el artículo se dividirá en tres ejes temáticos, en el primero se hará un progreso histórico con el fin de entender el nacimiento de la figura del uso de la fuerza y su sustento normativo. En el segundo eje, lo que se quiere lograr es armonizar ese contexto histórico con el contexto actual de la figura del uso de la fuerza. En el tercer eje, se analizará el contexto del conflicto armado en Colombia y su relación con la figura del uso de la fuerza, para finalizar, unas breves conclusiones.

    This research article advocates a legal description under construction about the use of force by the National Police Institution in the context of the armed conflict that Colombia has gone through for a little more than half a century, the uses and reasons that advocate it, and the international legal relationship that prevails from its birth. For its effective treatment, the article will be divided into three thematic axes, in the first a historical progress will be made in order to understand the birth of the figure of the use of force and its normative sustenance. In the second axis, what we want to achieve is to harmonize that historical context with the current context of the figure of the use of force. In the third axis, we will analyze the context of the armed conflict in Colombia and its relationship with the use of force, to finish with some brief conclusions.
