  Estados Unidos se prepara para sus próximas elecciones presidenciales de noviembre.

  Está en disputa quién será el ganador y líder de la principal potencia mundial en la actualidad, y lo está en plena disputa con China para saber quién será el ganador de la vacuna para acabar con el coronavirus, de la carrera por colonizar Marte o por el 5G, la nueva generación de telefonía móvil. Nadie duda en nuestros días del valor, más que estratégico, de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación y de todo lo que circula por ellas. Su impacto en la seguridad y en todos los aspectos de nuestras vidas cotidianas es importantísimo, desde las infraestructuras, al control de los distintos canales y el dominio del tráfico de datos o el valor económico que suponen. Las posibilidades que brindará el 5G, especialmente posibilitar el internet de las cosas (IoT) con miles de millones de dispositivos conectados, ha hecho de esta tecnología uno de los campos de batalla en los que se está definiendo la nueva hegemonía económica, política, militar, etc.

The possibilities that 5G will offer, especially enabling the Internet of Things (IoT) with billions of connected devices, has made this technology one of the battlefields where the new economic, political, and military hegemony is being defined.
