    El sistema internacional y sus relaciones, desde su génesis en Westfalia en 1648, están marcadas por constantes tensiones entre los países con pretensiones hegemónicas globales. Estas aspiraciones no pocas veces han desembocado en conflictos bélicos donde se han visto involucrados diversos Estados. El afán desmedido por el control del escenario mundial aún continúa, con nuevos actores y nuevas geoestrategias. En el contexto de una guerra comercial entre Estados Unidos y China, surge un fenómeno que podría ser un elemento catalítico en la reconfiguración del tablero global, el virus COVID19. Las relaciones internacionales no se detienen, los jugadores geoestratégicos aprovechan la oportunidad para cambiar la correlación de fuerzas, unos con ayuda humanitaria, otros con despliegue militar y siempre bajo la justificación de protección a la población.

    The international system and its relations, since its genesis in Westphalia in 1648, are marked by constant tensions between countries with global hegemonic claims. These aspirations have not infrequently led to armed conflicts where various states have been involved. The excessive desire for control of the world scene is still ongoing, with new players and new geostrategies. In the context of a trade war between the United States and China, a phenomenon arises that could be a catalytic element in the reconfiguration of the global dashboard, the COVID-19 virus. International relations do not stop, geostrategic players take the opportunity to change the balance of forces, others with humanitarian aid, others with military deployment and always under the justification of protecting the population.
