    Los primeros Ramésidas, y después del período de Amarna, vuelven a una ortodoxia artística iniciada ya por sus predecesores, y es en el reinado de Seti I cuando se llevan a cabo obras que rivalizan con las mejores de la dinastía XVIII. Desaparecen por completo las características típicas de la época de Amenhotep IV y surgen otras nuevas, como la postura inclinada del monarca ante las divinidades, o el uso de ciertos tipos de antiguas pelucas militares como tocados reales. Todas estas pervivencias e innovaciones muestran un arte que alcanza un alto grado de madurez y delicadeza, elevando sus obras a las mejores del Reino Nuevo

    The first Ramessides, and after the Amarna period, return to an artistic orthodoxy started by their predecessors, and it is under the reign of Sethos I when they carry out the work that competes with the best works of the eighteenth dynasty. The typical characteristics of the time of Amenhotep IV completely disappear, and new ones, such as the stooped posture of the monarch face to the gods, or the use of certain types of old military wigs as royal headgear, appear. All these survivals and innovations show an art that reaches a high degree of maturity and delicacy, elevating its works to the best of the New Kingdom.
